Comedian of the Day
Dara Ó Briain is an award-winning Irish stand-up comedian, author, and television presenter, best known for hosting Mock the Week, Robot Wars, and Stargazing Live. Alongside his television work, he has fronted a number of highly acclaimed documentaries, including The Moon and Mysteries of the Pyramids.
Dara is also a bestselling children’s author, with popular science titles such as Beyond the Sky and Secret Science. A hugely successful live performer, he has toured worldwide and won Best Tour at the 2023 Chortle Awards. His last two shows were broadcast as exclusive stand-up specials by the BBC, and he has also had five live specials released by Universal Pictures.
He is currently touring his new stand-up show Re: Creation across the world! After a four year break 2026 will see the return of Dara and a brand new Mock the Week on TLC.

CONSTRUCT is committed to providing a professional, respectful, and inclusive environment for all attendees. All participants are expected to conduct themselves in an appropriate and courteous manner at all times. CONSTRUCT reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove from the event, any individual whose behavior is deemed inappropriate, disruptive, unsafe, discriminatory, or in breach of this Code of Conduct, without refund or compensation. This includes, but is not limited to, harassment, excessive intoxication, abusive language, or any conduct that may negatively impact the safety, reputation or enjoyment of others at the event.
All attendees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner throughout the event. This includes respecting fellow attendees, speakers, exhibitors, and venue staff.
Harassment of any kind, including verbal, physical, or visual, will not be tolerated. This includes inappropriate comments, unwanted physical contact, intimidation, and discriminatory behaviour.
Please engage in constructive and respectful dialogue. Differences of opinion are welcome, but personal attacks, aggressive language, or disruptive behaviour are not acceptable.
All attendees must comply with venue safety guidelines, including fire evacuation procedures, capacity limits, and any specific health & safety requirements communicated by event staff.
